COVID-19 UPDATES

We are committed to ensuring our guests safety and comfort during their stay with us. We are following health and safety guidelines laid out by the government of PEI  with a focus on cleaning practices and social interactions. We aim to have transparency throughout the guest journey and will communicate any changes that may occur as the situation evolves.  

Event Venue

The Lessee hereby agrees to pay deposit(s) of $750 to secure the property and the Barn Hall. Deposits will be refunded following satisfactory final inspection, post clean up by Green Island Getaways Property Manager. All remaining payments shall be made in full, either by cash or by registered bankers check, or via direct deposit at least 10 days prior to the event. Miscellaneous payments may be made via credit card. 

One -Day Package

• Deposits are non-refundable if cancellation is received within 60 days prior to your corporate event.
• Deposits are non-refundable if cancellation is received with 12 months of your wedding event. 
• Check-in for the hall is 7 am on the day of the event. Check-out is at the end of the night. 
• No accommodations are included but if space is available they can be rented separately.
• If the Lessee decides to rent accommodations the private grounds are also available for a ceremony and cocktail hour only. 
• Personal alcohol can be consumed on the private grounds during cocktail hour only, not afterward.  
• Tables and Chairs are flipped, set up, and torn down by GIG staff. 
• Lessee is responsible for the clean-up of their cocktail party before the end of the night.

Catering Services

We have flexible catering available ranging from $22 - $80 pp + HST. 

• Cutlery, table and glassware are included in price. 
• 20% gratuity is applied to final bill. 

The Lessee can bring in an outside caterer but will be required to pay a kitchen fee of $600. This will be applied to the venue rental. 

• Cutlery, table and glassware are purchased separately at a cost of $6.00 + HST;
• Caterer must have valid food handling license and must be fully insured.
  • Certificates must be provided on site in case of inspection. 

Cocktail hour service is available at an additional cost. To be discussed with management. 

Accommodations

Accommodations have a 3-day minimum. Check-in is at 9 am and check-out is 3 pm. Deposits are non-refundable if cancellation received within 30 days of accommodation. 

• The private grounds are tobacco and cannabis friendly.
• Smoking is not permitted inside the buildings. Please use ashtrays when smoking outdoors. 
• Consumption of alcohol is contained to the private grounds only.
